Global Rules
DO NOT block player/companion spawns. If you have a player spawn inside your base, you MUST make sure that there is an easy and obvious path out from your base.
DO NOT build or block access to the following restricted locations: (locations to be determined).
DO NOT cheat, exploit bugs in the game, or mods/trainers.
ABSOLUTELY NO racism, hate speech, sexual content or excessive cursing in global chat or on the server. This extends to server names, aliases and character names. If an argument/discussion needs to happen, take it to private messages.
NO griefing, trolling, or harassing other players. This is not limited to continuously kill-cycling, stealing from other’s containers and/or vehicles.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
DO NOT purposely lock unused vehicles so others cannot lock them and claim them, or purposefully damage cars not in use/other player’s vehicles.
DO NOT build or block access to POIs, Quest Locations, Spawn Locations, or any other place an administrator recognizes as problematic for the server community.
Violations & Punishments
Violations that originate from toxic behaviour will more often result in an immediate and permanent ban. For other smaller recurring violations, admins reserve the right to issue punishments at their discretion.
If rules are being violated then you must submit proof before asking an admin to investigate. Proof can be in the form of relevant screenshots (F12 while in game to capture screen via Steam) or in the form of video if you are able to do so. Do not come to use asking for someone to be punished without proof. Do NOT leave out details just to help your case. Admins do not take kindly to lying.
You can report a violation on the Discord Server by creating a support ticket.
Official Server Use Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is subject to change without notification, though YoDubzz Studios will do its best to ensure that changes are communicated clearly through all social outlets at the studio’s disposal.
Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct can result in the removal of your structures, items, or the global banning of your account from all Official Servers. YoDubzz Studios reserves the right to immediately suspend player accounts as it deems fit. Review of any player’s actions will be investigated and a determination will be made once clear evidence is reviewed.
This list is not all-encompassing, but represents clear guidelines for players to adhere to when playing on the Official Servers. For something you’re unsure of, please use your best judgement. When in doubt, reach out to us through the Official Discord. Ensure you’re acting with some semblance of decency when conducting yourselves on the Official Servers.
Hacking or exploiting game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage over other players is not tolerated.
Examples of exploitation are not limited to, but can include:
– Attacking from, travelling through, or building in unintended game-zones (under the mesh, above the map, and any area that your character cannot get into without assistance, NO SKYBASES)
– Duplication of items/resources
– Intentionally crashing users or servers
When playing on Official servers, players must ensure that they are not taking advantage of hacking exploits and unfair play. Do not under any circumstances allow hackers to join your party or clan. If you witness someone breaking the rules through the use of a game exploit, or a third party program, ensure that you isolate yourself from those users and are not playing with or alongside them to avoid breaching the code of conduct.
Do not build in a manner to purposefully block spawns for the purpose of not allowing any new players to play on the server. In the event your base inadvertently or accidentally resides on a spawn point you will not be penalized, but expected to move your base to another location within a given time parameter. Continuous abuse of this system on additional servers will warrant a global ban of all Official servers.
PvE Specific Griefing
You are not allowed to block other players from playing the game on PvE servers. This can include but is not limited to:
– Building at their base
– Blocking in other players/vehicles
– Blocking access in/out of a base/survivor camp
– Blocking access to important resources or quest missions
– Intentionally breaking into people’s vehicles and stealing items, siphoning gas, taking car parts, etc.
– Willfully damaging another player’s vehicle
– Structure Spamming by placing structures down for the purpose of disrupting others gameplay
– Intentionally using zeeks or enemy AI to break player’s structures/vehicles
Dev Team intervention may be necessary if your actions are impeding other player’s gameplay and enjoyment
Misconduct
Interactions with other players or YoDubzz Studios employees through any communication medium must adhere to the rules below. Ensure you do not (but not limited to) engage in the following:
– Offensive Behaviors including but is not limited to language which is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically or otherwise offensive.
– Post Personal Information belonging to anyone in the game, or any official websites or forums related to the game.
– Harassment, Stalking or Threatening, such as sending repeated unsolicited or unwelcome messages to specific users and can include but not limited to those sexual in nature or messages that would cause discomfort.
– Disrupting the game such as intentionally causing the chat screen to scroll faster than other users are able to read, or setting up macros with large amounts of text that, when used, have a disruptive effect on the normal flow of chat.
– Sales Promotion to include the sending of messages which are advertisements for inappropriate topics, including scamming, hacking, exploits or the sale of goods and services unless trading within the game for game specific resources
Player, Steam and Clan Names
When choosing your name, Steam name, or Clan name you must adhere to general decency. If YoDubzz Studios determines your name to be improper, we may ask you to change the name and or terminate your use of the Official Servers. You should not use an alternative spelling to circumvent the name restrictions listed below. You should ensure that your name does not:
Offend – names may not contain vulgar, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise offensive, including any usernames which are sexual in nature.
Impersonate – pretending to be someone else with intent to impersonate YoDubzz Studios employees.
Obscure – Names and character names that are invisible through the use of special characters will not be allowed
False Reporting
When submitting a support ticket please complete all fields in the ticket. Include all relevant information along with any supporting documentation to include screenshots or videos. If you are uncertain about a rule, you may submit a support ticket using the “Report Player” subsection on the Official Discord. Tickets of this type may be of lower priority based on ticket volume at that time.
Abuse of the ticket system will not be tolerated. Repeated offenses will result in escalated actions to include suspension and/or banning from the reporting system or Official Servers.
– Use of abusive language towards staff when submitting a support ticket will result in the closure of that ticket without investigation.
– Spamming of tickets will result in their closing uninvestigated. Please be patient while we work to resolve your issue.
– False or fraudulent support tickets will result in a ban from the reporting system. Be genuine when submitting a report. Attempts to use Enforcement to harass, restrict gameplay, or gain advantage over other players is a zero tolerance offense.
When reporting others, please ensure that you are genuine. Reports made to harass other players or for restricting their gameplay when no codes of conduct have been broken are deemed punishable by YoDubzz Studios.
You can increase the effectiveness of your reports by including as much information as possible, as well as video or picture evidence. We never take our decisions and actions regarding potential malicious player behavior lightly. Suspensions, server wipes, and/or bans are only issued after careful review of all internal and external evidence.
Please be aware that submitting multiple reports for the same issue does not accelerate the review process and can cause your case to take more time to process.
Ban Appeals
Ban appeals will not be considered unless extenuating circumstances exist, as determined by YoDubzz Studios.
